<aside> 🌟 Since 2022, Otoko has organized 120 DIY workshops on a pay-what-you-can basis, welcoming over 1,000 participants in 25 cities across France. Workshop attendees have crafted thousands of glittery rings with their own hands.
Today, few collectives in France are hosting workshops using the same model.

Blending the vibes of a craft workshop, a support group, and a hands-on science class, the Otoko workshop introduces you to the thermal contraception method 🔥.
It’s a place to chat openly about shared contraception, sexuality, and masculinity. But more than that, it’s your chance to craft your own customized silicone rings. All on a pay-what-you-can basis, and all-you-can use glitter supplies.
The workshop equips you with everything you need to start your contraception journey: a thorough understanding of the risks, a clear protocol, and connections to healthcare pros for ongoing support.
We’ll answer all your questions about thermal contraception and beyond. You’ll get to try out the rings, receive guidance on starting contraception, and leave glittery and equipped, ready to rock your new rings with flair 🍒
The workshop lasts about 3 hours. Here’s the rundown:
• 15 minutes for introductions and discussions about contraception
• 45 minutes to present the thermal method and how it works
• 30 minutes to try on rings and choose colors
• 45 minutes for crafting
• 45 minutes for demolding, more discussions, and closing
All of this is offered on a pay-what-you-can basis to keep contraception accessible for everyone.
The exact workshop location and details will be sent to you by email after you fill out the registration form. (Check your spam folder and contact me if you have any questions!)
